The Steuben County Literacy Coalition and Cahoots Coffee Café have formed a mentoring partnership to benefit children and teens. The goals are to facilitate healthy relationships between adults and youth and to assist with school success. Individuals who wish to be mentors will obtain a background check and complete training provided by the Indiana Youth Institute. All mentors must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or the equivalency. Time commitment varies with assignment but will not exceed one hour per week.
