The Steuben County Literacy Coalition and Cahoots Coffee Café are coming together to form a mentoring program children and teens. The goal is to facilitate healthy relationships between adults and teens. Individuals who wish to be mentors will obtain a background check and complete training provided by the Indiana Youth Institute. All mentors must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or the equivalency and will be expected to have at least one hour contact with their mentee each week.
