Supplemental Education
After-school educational services are made available by your child’s school as a part of the “No Child Left Behind” Act of 2001. As a participant in SES, your student will receive individualized instruction based on his/her specific needs. You may also choose to enroll your child in Full Speed Ahead, an after-school academy where he/she will receive other services that include snacks and bus transportation.
Tutoring will be done twice a week in 90-minute sessions at your child’s school. Tutoring days will be scheduled by the parents and the provider for the 12 week program. Currently, Hendry Park Elementary and Prairie Heights Elementary are eligible for SES. If you are interested and your child attends either school, please contact the school principal for more information.
All Supplemental Educational Services are provided free of charge to you.
